A Quiet Week
It was a productive by quiet class before a Holiday and we only had 4 people attend classes. But that doesn’t mean that we don’t have something to show here.
Grace finished the cross that she started last week. She took it home to grind and wrap and she came in with the front of it soldered as well. When I gave her the okay to do the backside she finished that and started on a second one done in shades of Blue. Here’s the new one:
And here’s the one she completed this week:

Janice finished cutting the rest of her GlueChip border and got it all wrapped and tacked together. She’ll be soldering this window for the next 2 or 3 weeks and you can already see just how nice this is shaping up.
Gerald’s last project was a set of 3 windows that combined to make one large scene. This time he’s working on 4 windows that make a smaller series of images for his garage doors. It may be a bit hard to see what they are initially, but once you see the glass laying on top of the pattern the colors will make it instantly recognizable. If you need a hint at what these black and white images are just click on them for more information.
And lastly we have a look at what Jane S managed to do with her window this week. Since she had everything but her background cut out she’s ground everything and taken it home to wrap during the week (if she manages to find the time). Her Bird and Flower Window is really coming out nicely and we should have the background cut next week!
We should have 2 new students to report on in our next update so expect to see 2 new butterflies! Until then, HAPPY EASTER everyone!
