Blogs as medium to protect people

I would like to ask you a very IMPORTANT QUESTION.
Can blog be used to protect someone? Would this medium help deter any threats from happening to someone?
What do you think are needed (photos, text messages, etc.) to make this as an effective deterrent?

I think I owe you this one.
Kung nasa pinas ka tiyak blogging will help you to protect yourself or anybody from harm, parang media diba. Filipinos tend to incorporate blogging as a tool like media nga for any threats …magingay ka lang ng magingay sa blog and of course with the help of your blogger friends tiyak yan sasabog ang issue among bloggers and that will definitely stop somebody from harming you.
Wag lang sa ibang bansa, lalo na dito…di ganoon kalakas ang boses ng mga blogger..tiyak magkakakaso ka

Melai: Thanks for coming back. At least, I have the piece of your mind here without the dictionary of course. LOL
Anyhow, someone close to me is being threatened. I am away and I can not do anything to help. So i thought this might be of help. Because I do not want to go overboard and to make sure that i am hepling rather creating another problem, I decided to float this very important question here.
But, I made a mistake and learned my lesson as well. I should not put this type of question here simply because this blog is not for serious matters. I guess, this is the reason why I did not get the kind of answers I needed. I should have written it similar to what most entries were presented here. Or I should have written you all an e-mail asking your opinion.
Anyway, Medyo under control na ang situation. I appreciate you 2.0million cents worth of opinion. Thank you so much.
